We are off to Mexico

We are off to Mexico. It will be me, Perico, Jami and Mom making the trip. We will cross early tomorrow morning, probaby enter through Santa Teresa to avoid Juarez all together.

We will travell as far as we can south, trying to reach the state of Zacatecas. I will try to post updates here in this blog.

You can also follow our trip live through GPS technology in a Google map HERE. This should update every ten minutes.

Good morning!!!
We are still in Aguascalientes, today we leave to Zacatecas at about 3pm.
We are all OK and having a good time. Perico is happy now that the elections are over, they will now sell beer.

Well we are in Aguascalients, having arrived last night. On our way here we visited El Salitre, mom's birth place. It was very emotional for mom, we will be returning on Tuesday. Today we will visit Luz and Tony, Cruz son.

We are having a blast, we are enjoying spending time with mom, this trip is so important to her.
Here is a quick wrap up:
We hated Torreon and Cd Jimenez, we loved Zacatecas, Aguascalientes and all the little towns around VIlla Hidalgo.

Hello people! I am checking in, we are in Torreon in the sate of Durango. Today we should reach Zacatecas, and hopefully make it all the way to Aguascalientes. Everyone is fine and we are having a blast!
